James Davies.jim@3jay.com
I studied Fine Art at The Oxfordshire School of Art and Oxford Brookes University. My work covers both painting and sound (in performance and on record), as well as web based projects.
My recent work has emerged from process led improvisations and is concerned with uncovering and exploiting cultural values inherent in formal structures. I am also interested in investigating the potential for narrative within both figurative and non figurative artworks.
I have also been playing guitar in a punk band called Vehicle Derek, as well as working as Spunkle.
